Empowerment Workshops by the Break Isolation Group (BIG)  from IWS takes place at least once a month focusing on self organisation, everyday struggles on racism, discrimination, the asylum system, inequalities on access and participation on basic services such as health, education among other topics and connecting this struggles with the BIPoc refugees from Ukraine.

Additionally, other self-organised groups by refugee women* such as the Afghanistan women and girls utilise the space at Frieda Frauen*zentrum on Saturdays for Empowerment workshops and activities. The facility is open for use by other similiar groups.“
